XDS designed and built the 110 sqm ALRO Extrusion stand for Vimetco Extrusion S.R.L. – the aluminium extrusion company of the ALRO Group, which exhibited under the ALRO EXTRUSION brand – at ALUMINIUM 2026 in Messe Düsseldorf, Hall 1. It is the third consecutive ALUMINIUM edition built by XDS for the company, after 2022 and 2024. From metal to meaning: the brief
ALRO Extrusion came to ALUMINIUM 2026 with a clear message: a one-stop shop for extruded aluminium, from profile design and machining to assembly, welding and surface treatment. The stand had to explain that full value chain in seconds, from every aisle, and still offer a calm place for customer meetings – all on 110 sqm, presented under the ALRO EXTRUSION brand.
Design: a stand that reads from every aisle
- A suspended, illuminated cube with the ALRO EXTRUSION brand marks the stand from across Hall 1.
- Outer walls as a product catalogue. Large-format graphics – CAPABILITIES, INDUSTRIES, FROM METAL TO MEANING and ONE-STOP-SHOP – walk visitors through processes and target industries, from construction and commercial vehicles to defence, scaffolding and solar.
- Light as structure. Luminous brand columns, an LED wall with an illuminated header, a ring of pendant lights and an LED strip along the edge of the raised floor.
- Nature and materials. A living moss wall, planters and a slatted wall soften the industrial theme, next to a display of extruded aluminium profiles.
- Welcome and meetings. A navy reception counter, an oval info desk with a glass top, a digital totem at the entrance and an open meeting area with tables at the centre of the stand.
Build-up: ready three days before opening
The raised floor, with the cabling, sockets and water connection already integrated, was laid in a single day. The XDS crew then built the structure, the suspended cube, the LED wall and the electrics, and installed all the fabric graphics in-house, so that every wall came out straight and tight. Construction was complete on 3 October – three days before the fair opened – leaving time for furniture, plants and the final details. The stand was handed over on 5 October and signed off without objections, while the same team was finishing the ALRO double-decker in Hall 3.
Result
ALRO Extrusion opened ALUMINIUM 2026 with a stand that tells its full extrusion story at a glance and keeps a busy meeting area at its centre. For XDS, it is the third edition in a row with the ALRO Group at ALUMINIUM – two companies, two halls, one team.
