WestTechDiesel @ Automechanika Buenos Aires 2026 – Exhibition Stand Design & Build

Exhibition: Automechanika-Buenos Aires 2026
Location: La Rural, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Client: West Tech Diesel srl
Surface: 12 sqm
Stand type: Corner

For Automechanika Buenos Aires 2026, we developed a product-led exhibition stand concept for WestTech, a specialist in reconditioned diesel spare parts for professional and fleet applications. The space was conceived to communicate technical credibility quickly, using clear messaging, structured product presentation, and a disciplined monochrome graphic system. The layout prioritised open access from the aisle while protecting functional areas for conversations and on-stand support.

Objectives

WestTech’s brief required a stand environment that could:

  • Present a technical offering clearly, with immediate category recognition (diesel systems, remanufactured components, fleet solutions).
  • Create strong brand visibility from key sightlines using a clean, high-contrast graphic hierarchy.
  • Support face-to-face engagement through a practical mix of demonstration surfaces and discussion points.
  • Enable lead capture through a layout designed for natural stopping points, simple navigation, and visible staff positions.

XDS Design & Spatial Strategy

We translated WestTech’s industrial and engineering-focused identity into a stand language built around white architectural planes and technical line-art graphics. Large-format brand marks and sector illustrations (commercial vehicles) established instant context, while product category callouts structured the story without visual clutter.

The architecture was intentionally simple: an L-shaped backwall system created a strong perimeter for messaging and content, while keeping the front edge open for product interaction. This balance between openness and definition helped maintain visibility from the aisle while giving the stand an organised, professional presence.

Key Zones & Visitor Flow Reception & First Contact

The front counter was positioned as the primary interception point, designed to pull visitors in from the open aisle edges. Its prominence and branding created a clear first-contact location without blocking access to the product displays.

Product / Demo Presentation
A stepped display arrangement at the front supported hands-on product viewing, using height variation to improve visibility of mechanical components. The display surfaces were conceived to work as “pause points”, encouraging visitors to stop, look closely, and start technical conversations.

Content & Explanation Wall
A wall-mounted screen provided a dedicated focal point for video or presentation content, supported by surrounding category graphics. This created a clear “explain and validate” zone behind the initial product interaction area.

Meeting & Discussion Space
A compact high table with stools formed an informal discussion zone inside the footprint, positioned to allow quick transitions from product viewing to deeper conversation without moving visitors away from the stand story.

Back-of-House Storage
Integrated cabinetry beneath the screen provided concealed storage, supporting a tidy front-of-house and keeping collateral and essentials accessible for staff.

Build, Logistics & On-Site Execution
The stand concept was structured around a clean wall-and-counter arrangement, intended to be straightforward to assemble on-site while maintaining crisp graphic alignment and consistent lighting. Key functional elements—screen wall, storage, reception counter, and product plinths—were defined as fixed anchors to simplify installation sequencing and preserve the intended visitor journey.

As a full-service exhibition partner, our approach focused on controlling the practical details that affect performance on the show floor: readable graphics at distance, stable product display surfaces, and clear working zones for the team.

Lead Generation by Design

Lead generation was supported through deliberate spatial decisions rather than reliance on messaging alone:

  • Clear entry points: The open front and unobstructed edges allowed visitors to approach naturally from multiple directions.
  • Natural stopping points: The front counter and product plinths created logical places to pause, ask questions, and be qualified by staff.
  • Zoning hierarchy: Product viewing came first, followed by explanatory content and then discussion space—helping conversations progress in a structured way.
  • Visible staff presence: Staff positions at the counter and within the central area were designed to be immediately noticeable from the aisle.
  • Balanced openness and privacy: Informal seating provided a step up in conversation depth without isolating visitors from the stand activity.

Outcome & Brand Positioning

The resulting concept presented WestTech with a clear, technically grounded trade show presence: strong brand recognition at distance, product credibility through real components on display, and a layout that enabled smooth transitions from initial interest to focused discussion. The stand language stayed consistent – minimal colour, engineering graphics, and disciplined content placement – supporting a confident, professional positioning in a competitive hall environment.
