ALRO @ ALUMINIUM 2026 Düsseldorf – 196 sqm Double-Decker Exhibition Stand

Exhibition:ALUMINIUM 2026
Location:Messe Düsseldorf, Hall 3, Stand 3E23, Düsseldorf, Germany
Dates:6–8 October 2026
Client:ALRO S.A.
Surface:196 sqm, double-decker
Build-up:6 days, handed over 5 October 2026

XDS designed and built ALRO’s 196 sqm double-decker stand at ALUMINIUM 2026 in Messe Düsseldorf, Hall 3. It is the third consecutive ALUMINIUM edition at which ALRO – one of Europe’s largest aluminium producers, with more than 3,500 employees – has trusted XDS with its presence, after the 2022 and 2024 shows. The same week, we also built the 110 sqm stand of its sister company ALRO Extrusion (Vimetco Extrusion) in Hall 1.

A long-term partnership, one brief at a time

Long partnerships in exhibition building are earned edition by edition. ALRO first exhibited with XDS at ALUMINIUM 2022, returned in 2024 with an open 196 sqm stand built around a central video wall and a new brand identity, and came back for 2026 with a bigger ambition on the same footprint. Each time, ALRO’s marketing team brings a sharper message, and each time we start from what worked on the previous stand.

For 2026 the brief went up a level – literally: more private meeting space for key accounts, without losing the open, welcoming front that worked in 2024. The answer was a double-decker stand.

Design: more meeting space on the same footprint

  • Double-decker structure. An upper deck with a hospitality lounge – round tables, bar and glass balustrade – gives ALRO a quiet space for customer meetings above the busy hall floor.
  • Two enclosed meeting rooms under the deck, with integrated ceilings, spotlights and branded graphics, directly reachable from the reception.
  • A strong front. A large LED video wall framed by fabric-clad wings, the volumetric ALRO logo and the brand line “Made in Europe. Built for the world.” make the stand readable from the aisle.
  • Key figures on the walls. Production capacities and company milestones are printed large on the stair walls and columns, so visitors understand ALRO’s scale in seconds.
  • Reception and hospitality. A backlit info desk at the entrance, high tables and lounge furniture on the ground floor for quick conversations.

Build-up: six days, two halls, one team

An XDS crew of up to 11 people built both group stands in parallel – ALRO in Hall 3 and ALRO Extrusion in Hall 1 – with materials shipped by truck from our production base in Arad, Romania. The upper deck was installed by a certified German partner, while the rigging, stand structure, electrics, graphics and furniture were coordinated by our project manager on site. Both stands were handed over on 5 October, the day before the opening, with handover protocols signed without objections.

Result

ALRO opened ALUMINIUM 2026 with a stand that combines a strong brand front with real meeting capacity: two private rooms and an upper-deck lounge on 196 sqm. For XDS, it is another edition in a relationship built on trust, continuity and stands that look the way they were drawn.

What ALRO says about working with XDS

After ALUMINIUM 2024, ALRO’s Marketing Director, Corina Radu, described the collaboration in a written review. The challenge, in her words, was to make the trade-show presence “effectively communicate the scale and innovation behind our operations” and to find “a more dynamic and engaging way to present both our technical capabilities and new brand identity”.

“Since partnering with XDS, we’ve seen a significant increase in engagement at industry fairs. Our stand became a focal point for key industry players, helping us forge new business relationships and strengthen existing ones.”

“What we appreciate most about working with XDS is the attention to detail, the ability to listen to and understand our needs, and the commitment to creating solutions that align perfectly with our objectives. The XDS team was responsive, creative, and proactive in addressing any challenges, making the entire process seamless and successful.”

“We would highly recommend XDS to companies in any industry that are looking to elevate their presence at major trade shows. Their expertise is especially valuable for large-scale manufacturers like us, where complex operations need to be translated into a compelling and accessible visual experience for a diverse audience.”

– Corina Radu, Marketing Director, ALRO S.A.

Two years later, ALRO chose XDS again – the best review a stand builder can get.

FAQ

Who built the ALRO stand at ALUMINIUM 2026?

XDS – Impressive Exhibiting Solutions, an exhibition stand design and build company headquartered in Arad, Romania, active since 2001 and an IFES member since 2005. XDS designed, produced and built the 196 sqm ALRO stand in Hall 3, stand 3E23.

How long does it take to build a 196 sqm double-decker stand at Messe Düsseldorf?

For ALRO at ALUMINIUM 2026, the build-up took six working days, from 30 September to 5 October, with the stand handed over the day before the fair opened.

Can XDS build several stands at the same trade fair?

Yes. At ALUMINIUM 2026 the same XDS team built two stands in two halls in parallel: 196 sqm for ALRO and 110 sqm for ALRO Extrusion (Vimetco Extrusion).

Does a double-decker stand need special approval in Düsseldorf?

Yes. Two-storey stands at Messe Düsseldorf need structural calculations and approval from the organiser before build-up. XDS prepares the documentation with a certified partner and submits it within the organiser’s deadlines.

When is the next ALUMINIUM trade fair?

ALUMINIUM is biennial, so the next edition takes place in 2028 at Messe Düsseldorf. Exhibitors usually choose their stand builder 6–9 months before the show.
