The Security Essen is the world’s leading trade fair for security and fire protection, which will take place on the grounds of Messe Essen every 2 years. For over 40 years, she is the most important industry exhibition and offers the entire civil security under one roof. Of mechanical and digital safety systems on fire protection and video monitoring to IT security and terrorism prevention – the visitor will find in all areas the latest products, innovations, technologies and solutions. Here all experts, decision makers and buyers from the industry are meeting eachother and are guaranteeing an international event of the highest standard. As the prospects for the security industry has been very positive in the coming years due to rising crime especially in the cyber area, also in the future large amounts of investment in security technology are expected.

Particular solutions for access control, video surveillance and fire protection are in the foreground, but are increasingly being replaced by IT security.
